Data deletion
This page explains how to ask RealOS to delete the data we hold about you on Facebook or Instagram (Meta), and how to check the status of a request you already made.
How to request deletion through Meta
- Open Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. On Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites.
- Find the RealOS app and remove it.
- When Facebook or Instagram offers to send a data deletion request, choose that option. Meta forwards the request to RealOS automatically.
- Meta gives you a confirmation code that starts with DEL-. Keep it — you will need it to check the status on this page.
Once the request reaches us, the data we hold for your Meta account — contacts, conversations and messages in workspace inboxes — is deleted and the request is marked completed. Records your brokerage keeps in its own RealOS workspace are managed by that brokerage.
